Aadhaar E-KYC check and its applications

The overwhelming and rising Indian population has been thinking of the government and its stakeholders for many years to provide citizens with a unique authentication service.

Using a unique authentication service, each citizen can use a variety of services once by performing a code, and no longer need to re -approve his identity to use each service.

This unique code is called Aadhaar E-Kyc and is issued by UIDAI (stands for Unique Identifience Authority of India), a legal authority under the supervision of the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

This code is based on biometric information and appearance of individuals, and if needed, Indian nationals or Indian passport holders can receive it.

E-touchc stands for Electronic Know Your Customer and is a system for identifying people.

Aadhaar E-KYC has made this system based on the AADHAAR number so that the holders of this unique code can approve their identity electronically in different situations while maintaining their privacy and security security.

In fact, Aadhaar E-Kyc is a digital UIDAI identity document that AADHAAR number holders can share with organizations or companies.

This has significantly reduced the need for paper use and the time needed to authenticate.

The UIDAI project began in the year 9, and the Indian National Security Project continued.

Mr. Nandan Nilkani, co -founder of Infosys, was appointed by the government as the project responsible and the first UIDAI manager.

In the year 9, the Aadhaar logo and brand were unveiled by Mr. Nilkani and the project officially started. India’s Life Insurance Company and the National Bank of India were introduced as the first project users in nine states.

Subsequently, four private companies were approved for the registration process and the start of the company. It was expected that in two years, 5 % of the Indian population would register in the project.

In year 4, the authentication system was introduced by the Aadhaar number.

With this system, banks, telecommunications companies and government agencies could confirm the identity by entering the Aadhaar number.

The Aadhaar project was first faced with opposition from judges and some parliamentary representatives.

They believed that the details of the project had not been carefully reviewed and that the project had been implemented nationally without providing a bill and parliamentary approval.

The Supreme Court of India also said that the government could not serve those who do not have AADHAAR number because it is voluntary registration.

In the year 9, Mr. Nilkani resigned from the project management to run the Indian National Congress elections. Although Mr. Nilkani did not vote in the election, this did not change his will to carry out the project.

After accepting the election defeat, Mr. Nilkani met with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance of India to persuade them to continue the project.

The result of the negotiations was allocated $ 5 million to the project and the ability to connect the Aadhaar number to the passport.

The dramatic increase in the project’s budget allowed its practitioners to launch a $ 1.5 million campaign to promote the project by hiring an advertising agency.

With the approval of the fifth phase of the project, it was scheduled to increase by the end of the year, from 5 million to one billion at the time.

In the year 9, the authentication was introduced through the face so that people who had trouble using fingerprints, pupils or disposable passwords for any reason could easily confirm their identity through the face.

One of the reasons for the project’s success was to connect the Aadhaar number to the direct advantage transfer system (DBT).

Thus, government benefits, such as the amount of unemployment insurance, were deposited directly into the bank account connected to the AADHAAR number.

Thanks to this change, the amount and number of payments to qualified people were created and the possibility of fraud was significantly reduced.
