باران بوکه عروسکی باستانی است که به عنوان نمادی برای دفع خشکسالی در مناطق کردنشین آن استفاده می شود. بوکه همان بارانی است که مادران خوش ذوق در ساختن آن نقش دارند. عروسک ساخته شده به شکل صلیب را به عنوان نماد جمع می کنند. سپس مردم برای دعا جمع می شوند. برای تقویت روحیه جمعی بچه ها نیز در این مراسم شرکت می کنند. حضور دختران در جشن پررنگ است. زیرا نماد جشن عروس است و حضور دخترانی با لباس های رنگارنگ شادی بیشتری به جشن می بخشد.
