Step 1: Open the Telegram application and log in.
Step 2: Open the Telegram menu and then tap on the “Settings” option.
Step 3: After tapping “Settings” turn on “Notifications & Sounds” option.
Step 4: When you scroll down a little in the menu, you will see the close button next to the "Person Joined Telegram" notification option. When you turn the on button to off, you will no longer receive notifications from your friends who have just joined Telegram.
How to Delete Telegram Account Permanently?
There are several ways to permanently destroy your Telegram account.
The first of these is the timer-destroying feature.
The option to destroy with timer simply means "if I do not log into Telegram within the specified time, I will destroy my account".
This gives you the opportunity to opt-out if you change your mind within the time you have specified, preventing data loss.
You can stop the deletion process by logging back into Telegram.
PERMANENTLY DELETING YOUR TELEGRAM ACCOUNT WITH THE TIMER
To do this;
1 – Open the menu on the main screen by entering the Telegram application.
2 – Click on the “Settings” tab from the drop-down menu.
3 – Continue from the "Privacy and Security" option under the "Settings" heading.
When you scroll down the page a little bit, you will see the "Delete my account if I'm this far away" option under the "Advanced" heading. By clicking on it, select the period of time you want it to be deleted after you have not logged in.
4 – You can now delete the Telegram app from your phone.
If you do not log into Telegram for the period you specified, your account will be permanently destroyed.
PERMANENTLY DELETING YOUR TELEGRAM ACCOUNT WITHOUT WAITING
Contrary to the above process, there is also an option to delete within the current minute without specifying any time.
Before doing this, know that your data will be destroyed irreversibly in any way.
1 – Go to Delete My Telegram Account and Content I Manage.
2 – Write your phone number in the relevant field and confirm.
3 – After confirming, a security code will be sent to your phone.
4 – When you enter the relevant security code on page 2, it will go to the last stage.
5 – If your decision is still valid, press the confirmation button on the page that tells you that there is no way to permanently delete your Telegram account.
6 – When you press the "Yes, delete my account" button from the pop-up window that opens, your account will be permanently deleted.
