The 720S coupe gained a reputation for habitability, thanks in no small part to excellent all-round visibility. This is an area roadsters typically perform badly in – somewhat ironic in a car designed to deliver maximum fresh air potential. But McLaren claims to have worked hard to keep the back deck low and that the glazed buttresses improve over-the shoulder visibility by literally some per cent.

The 720S stops and handles as well as it goes, and combined with its straight-line performance, this is a supercar for the ages. Plus, the 765LT delivers all that's good about the 720S with more power and carsshot less weight. Well done, McLaren.
When 720S coupe or Spider (read: convertible) drivers aren't living out their Formula 1 fantasies, they’ll find the car provides a surprisingly civil ride. The only real pain is the contortions required to climb out of its simple yet customizable interior.
The interior is designed to be a blend of modern and race-inspired elements. Alcantara and Weir leather upholstery along with carbon fibre trim is standard. A Bowers and Wilkins audio system and fixed carbon fibre racing seats are included as an option. The main focus of the interior is the driver and this is reflected by the new digital display behind the steering wheel which retracts to a thin screen to reveal vital information to the driver when the car is in track mode.
The touch screen on the center console is angled towards the driver, and vital controls are designed to be in the driver's easy reach. The car comes with three driving modes: track, sport, and comfort with the first focusing on an enhanced track driving experience.
