The Planning & Optimization Senior Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing planning strategies to enhance operational efficiency, resource utilization, and overall business performance. This role ensures accurate forecasting, effective capacity planning, and continuous optimization of processes to support organizational objectives and sustainable growth.
Develop and manage short-term and long-term planning models
Analyze demand forecasts and align operational capacity accordingly
Optimize resource allocation (manpower, materials, equipment, budget)
Monitor and improve planning accuracy and performance indicators
Identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven optimization solutions
Lead cross-functional coordination between operations, supply chain, finance, and other departments
Conduct scenario analysis and risk assessments to support decision-making
Develop dashboards and performance reports for senior management
Support digital transformation and planning automation initiatives
Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in planning, optimization, supply chain, operations, or related fields
Proven experience in demand planning, capacity planning, or performance optimization
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, etc.)
Hands-on experience with data management and reporting platforms (Excel, SQL, or BI tools)
Experience in data analysis and performance improvement initiatives
Experience in E-commerce, logistics, telecommunications, or service industries is preferred
Professional certifications in Planning, Supply Chain, or Data Analytics are preferred
