The Operational Excellence Specialist is responsible for enhancing organizational processes, increasing operational efficiency, and improving overall performance. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean principles and other process optimization methodologies to drive measurable and sustainable business results.
Analyze current operational processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
Lead and support continuous improvement projects across departments
Implement Lean and other operational excellence methodologies
Develop, monitor, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Facilitate root cause analysis and structured problem-solving workshops
Standardize processes and document best practices
Train and coach employees on continuous improvement tools and techniques
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, quality, and service levels
Support change management initiatives to ensure successful implementation of improvements
Prepare performance reports and present improvement outcomes to management
Support strategic planning by identifying opportunities for growth, cost optimization, and efficiency improvement
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Process Improvement, or related fields
Proven experience in continuous improvement initiatives and performance enhancement projects
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Experience with data visualization and BI tools (Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, etc.)
Hands-on experience with data management and reporting tools (Excel, SQL, or Bl platforms)
Solid communication skills with the ability to simplify complex metrics for operational teams
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills
Strong passion for continuous improvement and a systems-thinking
