Cleansers
There are two types of cleansers that the Korean women use, one is oil based cleanser and the other is water based cleanser.
The oil based cleanser is used to remove the oil based makeup as well as other impurities from the surface of the skin whereas the water based cleanser removes the remaining residue that leaves your skin supple. The main purpose and the key is to find a formula which will not leave your skin dry and it will not strip the skin either.
Toners
The difference between Korean toners and other toners are that the Korean toners are mean to hydrate, balance the PH of the skin and also to moisturize. This is nothing but the Korean heritage, in which they used only natural products and ingredients and this has been passed from generation to generation. The tradition is being continued even today and they are trying to avoid chemicals and stick to natural ingredients.
Essences
Here, essences are more fluid and are less concentrated than actual serums. The main purpose of these serums are to keep the skin moisturized. Imagine your skin to be a sponge, once it is plumped with water, everything else will be absorbed more easily and quickly.
Serums and ampoules
The products that are formulated with the active ingredients target specific needs depending on the skin need and type, such as fine lines, loss of firmness of the skin and dehydration. Generally, serums are known to be more viscous in texture than essences, and ampoules are more concentrated version of the serum and they both are great for skin and are being used by the Korean women a lot. Moisturizers

Sunscreens
