The name Taherzahi or Taherzi is derived from the name of the ancestor of the Taherzais, Taher Mohammad Gargij, known as Hoot Taher. He lived in Balochistan and makran during the Afshari and Zand periods. The reason why they are called Hoot Taher (Gargich) is derived from the title of their ancestor, Malek Hassan Not, nicknamed Gargich.
Who was the king of eastern Balochistan. Malik Hassan Note is the elder of the Gargich family and their ancestor. The Gargich family is a large tribe of the Baloch people. Its history dates back to the Timurid era between 1480 AD. This indicates the originality of the Gargich and Taherzahi clans.
Taherzahi's ancestors ruled over Balochistan, present-day Pakistan, Iran, the Emirates, Oman, India, and Afghanistan, for many periods.
During the Timurid period, Hassan Noot, nicknamed Gargich, the ancestor of Taherzai, ruled over vast areas known as Eastern Balochistan. Bakr Hassan Noot was also the commander of the Chakar Azam Rand campaign

After this, Hut Tahir Muhammad traveled to Shiraz in the Afshari and Zand periods to defend the oppressed Baloch people. He went to meet the representative of the subjects, Karim Khan Zand, the king of Iran. During his meeting with him, he asked for the interests of the Baloch people under his command. The traces of the sacrifice of Hut Tahir and his soldiers in the Golani region, Daf Tepe Hay (Pa Ziarat), a village in Minab, to defend the people of Giawan, have not yet been erased.And the people will not forget the bravery and sacrifices of the Taherzi tribe, while hundreds of people from this tribe have been martyred in defense of the people of the region.




After Hut Tahir, his son Hut Pirdad Tahir came to power. A government that reached its peak. The largest and greatest Tahirzai government after Hut Tahir has been the government of Pirdad Tahir so far. Which continued from Fin Bandar Abbas to Bent Baluchistan.Qeshm, Hormuz, Abu Musa, Lavan, Great Tunb, Little Tunb, Bandar Abbas, Fin, Minab, Sirik, Bashakord, Rodan, Jask, Bent, etc. were all under his rule, his rule was during the Qajar period. The governments at that time were autonomous and almost autonomous in all matters, but they were under the control of the central government.
