Hungary is accepting applications for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarships 2023–2024. For Hungarian Government Scholarships, all international students from all over the world are eligible to apply. All applicants are eligible for fully funded scholarships from the Hungarian government to pursue their undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, or non-degree programs at one of the country’s top universities. The scholarship is available for the 2023–2024 academic year.
Under the Hungary Government Scholarships 2023, students can pursue undergraduate or graduate degree programs in virtually any academic field or major. English will be used to teach every course. The Government of Hungary will cover every cost.
To give international students the chance to pursue their higher education in Hungary, the Stependum Hungricum Scholarship Program was established by the Hungarian government in 2013. The program’s primary goals are to increase the number of international students in Hungary and to encourage top foreign students to enroll in Hungarian higher education institutions.
The Stendium Hungricum Scholarship Program offers full- and part-time study opportunities in three-cycle degree structures (bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs), primarily in English, but also includes study opportunities in other foreign languages. In order to continue their higher education in Hungarian, students can also apply for a one-year language preparation program.
Both the number of Stipendium Hungaricum applicants and the number of open scholarship spots are consistently rising. Around 5,000 scholarships are awarded annually to the brightest students from all over the world. The chance to study in Hungary is the most prestigious one available to students worldwide.
