# Technology Is Neutral, But Its Memory Can Be Gendered

# Technology Is Neutral, But Its Memory Can Be Gendered

It’s honestly surprising that some people still search for gender in wires and code.
Technology itself is neutral—neither masculine nor feminine, neither emotional nor biased.
But the memory we build around it can become gendered,
especially when only one group gets to design it, use it, and define its meaning.

When only one voice speaks, the rest go silent—or get erased.
But when women, marginalized communities, and underrepresented voices enter the design space,
technology transforms into a tool for empathy—not just power.

So before you label your laptop or your code,
ask yourself:
**“Am I designing something new, or just repeating what’s already been said?”**

### 📌 Closing Note:
And if you ran from the interview, maybe it’s because you had nothing to say—
or maybe your candle was out, and you had no light to offer.
Technology isn’t just a tool—it’s a space for dialogue, not escape.
