How to electronically sign PDF

Many companies send their contract texts in PDF format to the contracting party so that the recipient can fill in the blank parts of the contract or add his signature at the end. In these cases, the sender will make it easy for you by sending you an editable PDF file, but this is not always the case and many times static PDF files are sent that cannot be edited. This means that you must first print the PDF file, fill in the blanks, scan it again, and finally email or fax the PDF file to the sender. The good news is that there is an easy way to fill in the blanks in non-editable PDF files. You can easily edit your PDF files without the need for a scanner or printer using Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is a program for viewing PDF files, however, it can also be used to edit these files. For this purpose, you must first open Adobe Acrobat Reader and use the Fill & Sign tool to edit and add text and signature to your PDF file.

1: Download Adobe Acrobat Reader.

If Adobe Acrobat Reader is not installed on your PC or laptop, you can download it by clicking on the Adobe Acrobat Reader download link. After downloading and installing the program, open it and view the desired PDF file by double-clicking on it.

2: View the tools of the Adobe Acrobat Reader program

If Acrobat Reader tools are not displayed on the page, just click on the View menu and the Tools option and enter the settings page of that tool by selecting the desired tool.

3: Add a signature to the PDF file

To add a signature to a PDF file, you must follow the steps below. Click on the signature icon that can be seen in the Fill & sign toolbox section.

After selecting the Fill & Sign option, a window will be displayed that contains two options to choose from.

Click on Fill and Sign to type your name or draw your signature. By clicking on Add Signature, we enter the signature page.

You can add an image of your signature that has been scanned or drawn using any graphics program and saved in png, jpg, etc. graphic file formats to the program.

For this purpose, you only need to click on the image icon to call up the signature save file. To draw a signature, just click on the Draw button and insert your signature by moving the mouse or a light pen.

Select any of the available options. If the added signature is what you want, click the Apply option in the lower right part of the image to add the signature to your PDF file. This signature will be saved as your signature in the program by default and you can use it on any other PDF file that you open with Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Well, back to the PDF file. Place the mouse on the desired place to insert the signature and click on it. Now you can reduce or enlarge the size of your signature or delete it and create a new signature.

After adding the signature to the PDF file, save it.
