Chamrosh is more than a mystical bird and served a significant purpose in history of Persia. Its background goes back to 5000 years ago and is first appeared as a twin Griffin-like statue in Persepolis the capital of the Achaemenid. In 1961, it became the iconic logo of Iran Air (HOMA) which frequently makes best of lists for airline brands.
