Nowadays, notions of transparency and traceability of supply-chain and authenticity of facts beyond the luxury rugs are gaining popularity in customer’s purchasing decisions. This is known as provenance and chain of custody in the literature. Chamrosh Technologies develops a new solution to integrate Internet of Things (IoT), Distributed Ledger Technology (known as blockchain),and Image Processing to offer comprehensive and efficient end to end traceability and surveillance along with the rug supply-chain.
This Technology startup stores the narrative of a rug in successive blocks by identifying the location of production and recording data-backed features from weaving process. Most importantly, the ownership records and other environmental data including temperature, moisture, location of use and light density are stored in the blockchain by observing confidentiality and privacy protocols.
