صبح زود، کوچه خلوت بود. پیرمردی آرام راه می‌رفت و با هر قدم، صدای ساییده شدن کفش‌هایش روی آسفالت می‌پیچید.

همان موقع پسری با لباس رسمی و گوشی در دست، از کنارش رد شد. حتی نگاهش نکرد. عجله داشت؛ جلسه مهمی در شرکت.

اما چند قدم جلوتر، بند کفشش باز شد.

وقتی خم شد تا ببندد، گوشه چشمش افتاد به پیرمردی که همان‌طور آرام راه می‌رفت...

با همان صدا.

با همان سکوت.

برای لحظه‌ای ایستاد.

فهمید زندگی فقط دویدن نیست...

گاهی باید ایستاد و شنید — حتی صدای کفش‌های کسی که دیگران از کنارش بی‌تفاوت رد می‌شوند.

The Sound of Shoes

Early morning.

The street was empty.

An old man walked slowly, the soft scrape of his shoes echoing on the asphalt.

At that moment, a young man in a suit, phone in hand, passed by without even looking. He was in a hurry — there was an important meeting waiting.

But a few steps later, his shoelace came undone.

As he bent down to tie it, he noticed the old man still walking...

With the same sound.

With the same silence.

For a moment, he stopped.

He realized — life isn’t just about running forward.

Sometimes, it’s about pausing... and hearing the quiet footsteps of those we overlook.
